This was a lovely lunch with friends.  The food in the restaurant was, as always, excellent and beautifully presented.  The service is first rate with a very warm and friendly staff who take care of you with perfect efficiency and without fuss.  Thank you.

The staff were very welcoming and the service was cexcellent. We were in a small alcove well away from other lunchers and had so no trouble in hearing ourselves speak.. The food was well presented and cooked.

We booked the Royal Oak for a team lunch. The food was delicious with generous portions and lovely presentation. Our only gripe was with how long it took for the food to come out. Considering we were a table of 12 I think perhaps we should have been asked to pre-order to ensure we could all eat during a working lunch-hour.
